Reading It Again
I am finishing a computer engineering dissertation and want to check the final draft carefully. After reading the same chapters many times, I find it hard to notice small mistakes. I have been looking at dissertation proofreading services and wondering what students normally check before submission. Is reading the work aloud useful? Should I leave a few days before proofreading it again? I would like to improve my own checking skills rather than depend on someone else. What simple proofreading habits have helped you catch mistakes?
